These are my photos. I chose to do the body as a history category because I was looking down my legs and I noticed the huge scar on my left knee. It has an interesting story behind it; I was going to lunch before an audition on my first day of classes. On my way out, trying to avoid colliding into strangers, I tripped, fell and bloodied up my knee (not to mention twisting one of my ankles and spraining the other foot). I was in so much pain! It was really gross, too. :P And even a semester later, I still have the huge scar on my leg from that day.
All of the scars on my body have a story behind them, and remembering them keeps the memory fresh, as if I'm still pulling the band-aid off after the initial incident.

Hard to see here on the blog, but this scar
is from getting a little too close to an
oven rack in junior high.

This one's also hard to see, but right in the
corner of my eye, there's a scar from when I
tried to put my head on my dad's shoulder
but wasn't looking and missed, hitting my eye
on the chair he was sitting in. It was at a Boston Market
after my ballet class; I was 4 years old. |

This scar is from wearing my favorite shoes
to Six Flags Over Texas when I went
with a bunch of friends all day instead of
going to my senior prom. |

The scar on my pinky knuckle is from nicking
my hand on the edge of a frying pan while making
Mothers' Day breakfast, two years ago |

And last but not least, this one is the scar I told you
about at the top. To this day, it hasn't gone away.
Sometimes I hate it, sometimes
I don't mind it so much.
But oh, well. At least it's got a good story.
